Following Revolution Exclusive: Comparing The Nintendo DS and (Model Of) DS Lite

Some of you may of had the first thought I did about the DS Lite, and that was, is it worth it for something not that much smaller? Comparing the GBASP and the GBM, the size comparison was insane, the GBM was so insanely small that it might have easily been worth it for all you GBA fans. Now I'm a DS enthusiast so you would expect me to be really hyped up, and I am, but with some concerns. With size in mind, Nintendo says that it is less than 2/3 the size of the original. I took the dimensions provided by Nintendo of Japan and made my own model of the DS Lite with cardboard covered with electrical tape. Now of course its not EXACTLY the size of what it will be due to human error, but it's very very close. Just to show you the model I made with it next to the original DS, I put a small video together displaying the two next to each other showing different angles. Then again, if the size dosn't exactly do it for you, the re-designed d-pad, buttons, button (and microphone) placement might, and brighter screen might. All in all I'm betting it will be a great product and it will sell tons, although for a possible $150, I don't know if it will be worth it right away for current DS owners to pop for the new one.
