DELAYED!!!

Actually this post isn't about Twilight Princess, even though it has been delayed well over one year. This is about the Nintendo DS Lite. It turns out that the 2 alternate colors, icy blue and enamel navy (sorry if I have the name wrong on the icy blue), have been delayed to slightly after the release of the silver one due to factory production. Too bad, but then again, this applies to Japan, and not us.

BIG UPDATE!!!

Well it's been a while since a good update, but Maple Story has pretty much owned my life. I finally fixed up the whole podcast system. Podcasts will no long be posted in this main area, but in a separate blog (frpodcast.blogspot.com), which there is a link to off in the right side of this page. Only podcats are posted there. No need to comment on anything, just download and listen. Everything new will still mainly be on this blog. As for podcasts on iTunes, they are all fixed, they will all be availible for download sometime soon, perhaps within an hour of this post, whenever iTunes updates. New updates of the podcast? We get them! They should be up tomorrow. We have episode 7, and a special episode 7.5. Whats in a "half" episode? You'll have to listen to find out!

News Catch Up: Power Supply, Advent Children, PS3, and More!

Sorry to all of you, but I have been quite encaptured into Maple Story for the pas few days. Here is all that's happened that I never posted about:

The Revolution's base will act as a power supply

PS3 speculated release date: September 21st

Playstations online service called Playstation HUB, and if delivers what it says, it will be a "Live-Killer"

PS3 will not ship with a hard drive

Advent Children for US is dated at April 24th (OFFICIALLY!)

In a Nintendo WFC ad in Europe, there are hidden letters that spell out Revolution in the background

DS Lite speculated to be in US in May

DS TV Tuner and Opera Browser unveiled for DS (Tuner is currently slated for Japan only)

Opera Browser will come with extra RAM for the DS to go into GBA Slot, it will make browsing a lot faster, and unsure if games will use it

The Xbox Live camera will not let you change gamer pictures

Lubidium for Maple Story was not released in patch .18

President Bush signed a bill into a law that by February 17th, 2009, all TV signals must be digital. No More Analog.

You can purchase a web browser for the Revolution according to a phone support NOA

There will be an online golf game by Tecmo for the Revolution at launch

The graphics chip for the Revolution was designed the same way as the Flipper for the Cube, from the ground up specifically for the system. This dosn't mean they are near the same specs or architexture wise, just the idea used to make it. Ground up is perfect optimizing it to its fullest potential.

Live and Wifi Connection, Meet Your New Competition

It was recently found out by Next Generation that Sony's new "Live-Killer" is called PlayStation HUB. The HUB will be featured on the PS3 and PS2, and offers everything Xbox Live does, and takes it a step furhter with more media to the point of offering it more like iTunes, although this won't come free as it is implied that the HUB will have a monthly fee. With more information of the PS3 coming, we have an estimated release date of Sepetember 21st, with it being a simulatenous launch in Japan and US, with Japan estimated on the 16th. Even more news, it seems that the Hard Drive will be sold separately from the PS3 (it uses a standard 2.5" laptop hard drive), which would suggest that the PS3 will launch for $400, and not the unwished $500. Although if you don't have a compatible hard drive, you could be spending an easy $500 on launch day for the system and the hard drive, if not later bundled. I personally though plan to get around all of the extra prices. By then I'll have a new laptop with no need for my old one, so just open it up, salvage some parts, and I got a free 40GB PS3 Hard Drive. I'll also have an unused 512MB Compact Flash Card, so theres my memory card. Not too bad, atleast the PS3 has amazing compatibility with media. The PS3 isn't looking too bad now, knowing of the HUB service, although I just don't know about this controller...

Revolution Logo Leaked?

We saw beta pics of the logo leaked a long time ago back around May of 05, but it seems that we now may have a final Revolution logo, and in my opinion it looks friecken' nice! Blitz Games revealed on their website that they are creating a game for the Revolution, but in a sidebar section of their website you see different console logos of systems they are making games for, and amongst the GC, XB, PS2, X360, and PS3 was this logo! It dosn't show anywhere that it is a beta logo or only a suggestion of sorts, and it matches the old leak photos very closely, but not exactly. We saw that same R design, but not as the R in Revolution, and more just as a picture above the words Nintendo Revolution. This looks like a real, and professional looking photo, and I think we migth have ourselves the final logo here, even if IGN thinks that it isn't the final. This would also mean that the final name is the Revolution. It just sticks!
