TechTree Knows The Power

I recently found this site from the Nintendo Forums. It seemed normal at first, until they stated the power of the processor along with graphics processor. Seems really high, and if that's what it is, I'll be amazed. It's possible, but unlikely.

"It seems in this war of new consoles the only clear profit-maker is IBM. IBM has made the PowerPC-based core(s) for the Xbox 360, the Cell processor for Sony in conjunction with Sony and Toshiba, and also the Power-PC G5 based processor(s) for the Nintendo Revolution. Not one, but four! Yes, apparently the Revolution will feature FOUR 2.5 GHz PowerPC G5-class processors, codenamed "Broadway", and a graphics processor by ATI, codenamed "Hollywood", the dual-core RN520, with 16MB of frame buffer DRAM. Technically, this makes the Revolution a bit more powerful (2.5 x 4 > 3.2 x 3, 16 > 10). The Revolution also features 512 MB of memory."

The Result Of When A Person Has Too Much Time On Their Hand

Well it's been a while since we've gotten the ol' fake Revolution pic around here, and someone decided to make one. Unfortunately it's fake. What gives it away? I find that the fake model of Revolution in the picture is far too long. I looked at pictures of the system on Nintendo's site, and it's not that long. And if that's not the beta version, it's supposed to get smaller, not bigger.

Nice effort for everything there, but if you're gonna try and stir a huge mass hysteria over rumors of a game system, get the dimensions right.
