Iwata Speaks Revolution

Iwata has announced a couple of things about the Nintendo Revolution today. Revolution will not launch before April of 2006, because Nintendo's fiscal year ends in March, but no worry, it will still launch in 2006. He went on to say that Revolution will be a complete failure if it doens't sell more than the GameCube did, but thats not a problem I would think. The GameCube has shipped 18.7 million units to date. And finally, Iwata announced that following the recent trends, Revolution will be shipped on a worldwide simultaneous release! Hopefully then we can see it before Japan like the X360 and the NDS haha.

Electroplankton Is Finally Coming To The States

It's official from Nintendo that Electroplankton will be coming to the states on January 9th, 2006. There is a catch though, the thing is that the game will only be availible online at major retailers, at the Nintendo World Store in NYC, or at Nintendo.com's online store. This could pose as a problem to people under the age of 18 who don't have a credit, or access to one, but this might be the start of seeing a push to online shopping. It's interesting to know that the game will be sold at Nintendo.com's online store, since they have never sold games on their site before, or systems for that matter.
